Job Description

The NAPA Phoenix District PBE Sales professional is responsible for developing sales in assigned Company Owned NAPA Store locations. This position will interface directly with NAPA Automotive Stores to drive business and support end users.

The core responsibilities and duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and record reliable customer/territory information and estimate individual customer potential in to the NAPA Sales Planning (NSP) on-line application.
  • Conduct competitive product comparisons and identify current competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and determine competitive advantage.
  • Make sales presentations and business consultations to prospective and existing PBE users. Through the sales process, identify the customer’s needs and develop solutions in order to profitably grow PBE sales.
  • Develop a regular sales call schedule to ensure that the needs and expectation of the customer are realized.
  • Familiarize self with all products, including their application and preparation, in the Martin-Senour Automotive line.
  • Familiarize self with all NAPA PBE product offerings in order to create sales opportunity with PBE customers.
  • Collaborate with Local Martin Senour DSM to develop sales presentations and promotions to facilitate growth in existing accounts and to open new accounts.
  • Create and foster a business partnership and relationship beneficial to the PBE customer and NAPA / Martin Senour
  • Conduct product demos to assist in selling/marketing of NAPA PBE products.
  • Access product/technical information to support customers’ application requirements.
  • Handle customer complaints within lines of authority and manage process to resolution.
  • Assist customer in setup and implementation of mixing systems.
  • Support customer with technical, sales, and marketing assistance as needed.
  • Assist customer in determining inventory levels.
  • Assist in color verification.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Bilingual - Spanish is a plus
  • May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least 2 years in customer service related position
  • At least 1 year in PBE sales related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with word documents and spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated high level of both verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisionS
