What You Will Do—in the Marketing Associate, Product Marketing role:
NaviSite is looking for product marketing professional to join its Marketing team to develop/implement marketing plans for its product and service portfolio, including market segmentation to identify target customers and to evaluate and articulate competitive differentiation, conduct competitive intelligence projects, and develop messaging to promote and sell the products through a combination of distribution systems.

This is a highly visible position that requires collaborative work with other marketing team members as well as close work relationships with product management, sales, service delivery and operations team members for success.
Responsibilities:
·Develop/Manage product marketing plans for NaviSite’s product and services portfolio to drive leads, sales, awareness, positive positioning and promotions.
·Manage/Perform data driven competitive intelligence and market comparisons and studies to be used in business case development for product roadmap decisions.
·Monitor marketplace and competitive activities for appropriate positioning and differentiation. Develop competitive positioning analysis and evaluate NaviSite product functionality and pricing placement.
·Work closely with other Marketing team members to implement product line specific marketing and lead generation programs – on-line and/or off-line, direct and/or indirect
·Work closely with sales teams to provide product line specific sales presentation, market training, customer success stories, references and other require elements to drive sales success
·Work with content teams/external writers to develop, and manage library of product fact sheets, collaterals, marketing materials, blogs, whitepapers, web site content, customer case study and presentations to promote product portfolio
·Represent the NaviSite story and viewpoint, including providing high level overviews of our product portfolio and product demonstrations at tradeshows, customer events, and other public forums that NaviSite participates in.
·Work with industry analysts/ market influencers to promote products and develop positive perception in the influencer community. Develop viral programs and web marketing programs, blogs etc to spread product information to the target audience

What We Are Looking For in a Marketing Associate, Product Marketing candidate:
Ideal candidates will have:
·2 - 4 years of hands-on marketing experience in related high technology area.
·Strong communication skills, including writing and presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts into easy to understand messaging.
·Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research and basic analysis. Ability to identify pertinent market and business insight information from general or generic information
·Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects, coordinate cross functional teams and meet aggressive goals.
·Familiarity with social media and marketing tools as a way to effectively communicate product messages and capabilities.
·Results driven, high energy, with a strong work ethic; Strategic thinker but detailed oriented implementer with a passion for success flexible to wear multiple hats
·Bachelors degree required
·Travel Required: 25-30%
