As a Sr IT Operating Systems Analyst, you would work with a variety of individuals that may include business users, internal and external customers, application developers, QA, project leaders and others with a primary focus on large-scale systems, applications, databases and reports leveraging multiple tools, processes, and technologies.Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance and support of current internal reporting/forecasting tools developed in MS Access / SQL
Creating datasets in MS Access or SQL that pulls data in from multiple sources (i.e. Hive, Excel, Essbase, SQL Server, SharePoint)
Gathering business requirements to fulfill customer requests
Design, develop, and test applications used internally by peers and externally to IT leaders
Provide technical support for non-programming staff
Plan and manage assignments of varying scope
Establish new and drive current business processes
Collaborate with team members to implement strategies to streamline current system processes

Requirements

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.


Advanced Microsoft Access Skills (developing complex formulas and transforming data)
An understanding of SQL Server
An understanding of SQL Server Management Studio
VBA experience in MS Access or Excel, leveraging third party api in VBA a plus
Establishing data connections using ODBC
Ability to communicate clearly to senior management and demonstrate leadership to team/peers
Knowledge of SSIS to create scheduled processing of data
Assets


Understanding of OLAP/Cube data structures (Essbase, Cognos, SSAS...)
Intermediate SharePoint development, use of SharePoint Designer
Knowledge of Tableau is a plus
Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus
Salesforce development experience is a plus
