Swim Instructor

We are looking for fun and dynamic high-school (15 years and up), college students, teachers, and stay-at-home parents to join our team! American Swim Academy invites candidates to apply for our Part-Time Swim Instructor position at our indoor pool located in downtown Livermore. This position is year-round, not seasonal. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic, loves children and has a strong member service background. We have available shifts during the morning, afternoon, and evening, during the week and weekends. Have friends who need a job? Ask about our Referral Program! 

Job Qualifications: must enjoy working with children and possess swimming skills. The candidate must be responsible and have a professional attitude. Must have prior experience in swim instruction and/or experience working with children. Paid on-site training will be provided. 

Job Functions: Instruct children, beginning at 4 months and up, teach basic water safety skills, and teach the skills necessary for a student to learn how to swim. Communicate with staff and parents on swimmer's progression.
