First American Title is looking for a motivated and energetic Escrow Assistant for their office in Honolulu, HI! The Escrow Assistant will support and promote our unique company culture and will help us inspire confidence and pioneer change in the vacation ownership industry.

We are looking for an individual that is self-motivated, takes initiative, is dedicated to the highest level of customer service, is ready for a challenge, embraces change, and is a true team player. They would join a specialty division that manages a high volume desk that includes customer contact via email and telephone. Training of our specialty products and processes will be provided to the selected individual.

A successful candidate will be an “outside the box” thinker that maintains a positive attitude even in a fast-paced, high volume, high pressure environment. The candidate must be highly organized, with independent working characteristics that include problem solving and decision making skills.

Job Summary:

The Escrow Assistant responsibilities to include, but are not limited to providing support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings.

• Opens orders, inputs closing statements from a worksheet prepared by Escrow Officer
• Prepares documents for closing and handles the complete disbursement and follow up of all escrow transactions
• Communicates requirements and other information to clients including Title exceptions
• Interprets earnest money agreements as they relate to closing and prepare all documents require for transactions
