An exciting Interim Nurse Educator position is available Washington DC hospital affiliated with the very best Heart Program in the country.
This Medical Center has challenged itself to become the leading provider of Cardiovascular Services in the country and this Nurse Educator will be charged with elevating the practice of the facilities’ Surgical and Cath Lab Nurses.
The 300 plus bed teaching hospital is part of a stable and well-respected healthcare system in the Capitol region that offers tremendous potential for career growth. The hospital is in the midst of a huge expansion project and there is ample opportunity to develop new educational programs. The Catheterization Lab Service and Surgical Service Lines are in the process of an expansion.
The Invasive Diagnostic Cardiac and Surgical Nurse Educator will be responsible for the continuous education of staff members to ensure that safe, quality nursing care is being given at all times. The Clinical Educator will provide healthcare educational activities to staff, associates, and/or patients and families. Planning, developing, and implementing educational activities, along with acting as a facilitator and consultant, are other responsibilities of the Educator.
