We are hiring a Senior IT Operating Systems Consultant.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Consult with the Engineering teams to provide information and explanations regarding operationalization of new technologies and other complex issues
Evaluate new technology/process from an operational perspective
Ensure all Tracker requirements are met and engage appropriate resources when necessary to assist in evaluation
Evaluate proposed process (es) and help NTP team define process changes if any are required
Create new documents needed for DPS Windows Support and Operations to perform daily activities/troubleshooting for newly integrated technology/process where required
Evaluate documentation pertaining to new technology/process being integrated into the environment
Participate in any project meetings/discussions and add DPS Windows Support and Operations perspective
Ensure new technology/process is supportable by the DPS Windows Support and Operations team
Have all assigned NTP work completed by the close of the NTP project
Become technically proficient with new technology/process
Define the portions of the new technology/process that DPS Windows Support and Operations would need in order to perform their job
Write training documentation complete with screenshots and pertinent information that DPS Windows Support and Operations can/will use in order to perform their job
Update training documents for new/changing processes and technology
Learn new technology/process to integrate into DPS Windows Support and Operations process
Train current team members on new technology/process as they are incorporated
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Post-graduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
10+ years of System Development experience
10+ years of Business analysis experience
10+ years of Supporting/Maintaining Operating Systems
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Proficiency with MS Visio
Healthcare Industry experience
Database Administration experience
