Designer/Drafter - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently seeking two Detailers in the Greater Fort Wayne Area.

Job Description:

The chosen Detailer (which has evolved into more of a Project Manager role over recent years) will be responsible for taking customer drawings, convert to simple drawings using AutoCAD & a 3D Modeling software (this software will be taught), then create plans to manufacture product and deliver to the customer. About 75% of the time is detailing and designing drawings based on specifications delivered from sales / customer. 25% of the time is working directly with the customer to verify accuracy of information and coordinate time-lines provided by sales to ensure the order is correct.

Qualifications:

• 0 to 2 years AutoCAD and Detailing / Drafting
• Strong Mathematics and Analytical Skills
• Strong Verbal & Written Communication Skills
• Proven ability to adjust to day-to-day tasks immediately and project management / prioritization
• Strong Desire to design as well as manage projects directly with the customer
• Strong Desire to work for large reputable company Fortune 500 company
