As a member of Marvell's Central Engineering organization, there is tremendous opportunity to design IP that will be utilized within SoC's across multiple industry segments serviced by Marvell's other business units. These include high speed serial communication cores which support network switching fabric, datacenter, AI/ML sockets, automotive ethernet, electrical to optical transition, IoT, storage and more.

What You Can Expect

  • Become a member of a world-class analog design team in providing high performance analog and mixed mode circuits for leading data communications and networking products. You will have an opportunity to design the latest high-performance transceivers and other critical analog designs for Marvell's core products.
  • All team members participate in circuit architecture, circuit implementation, design review, layout, and silicon validation in the following areas:
  • analog-to-digital converters (ADC),
  • digital-to-analog converters (DAC),
  • phase-Locked Loop (PLL),
  • filter, adaptive equalizers, finite-impulse response (FIR) filter, and decision-feedback equalizer (DFE).
  • serializer-deserializer (Serdes), clock and data recovery (CDR) circuits, and phase-locked loop (PLL) or other timing circuits.Key responsibilties include:
  • Creation of analog circuit solutions to address performance challenges at the lowest possible point
  • Providing technical leadership to a team of IC designers in order to enable successful on-time releases
  • Understanding how the current work items fit into the larger design cycle and recognizing and resolving obstacles before they impact release schedules
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with overlapping program timeframes
  • Familiarity with latest design methdology and tools including
  • Cadence Design System (schematic composer, layout virtuoso, EXL, spectre, Pnoise, MDL)
  • Scripting languages to enable post extraction netlist cross-section development
  • TSMC FinFET technology device rules, reliability
  • Status reporting to executive level management
  • Improving upon established best practices and driving across design teams through review & documentation

What We're Looking For

Basic qualifications include:
Master's degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of related professional experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus in the areas of analog integrated circuit design
Professional experience involving development and implementation of state of the art analog integrated circuits for use on products.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

145,300 - 215,010, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
