Accounts Payable

Denham Resources has an excellent direct hire opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team of our clients, a well- established, highly successful, and rapidly growing locally owned Fresno business. Description - Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records - Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries - Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval - Verify vendor accounts by reconciling month statements and related transactions and respond to vendor inquiries - Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances - Review A/P aging report - Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and process checks accordingly - Assist management with special projects and month end processes -Process employee expense reports -Process wire transfer and ACH payments -Provide customer service to calls regarding payables and resolve issues -Other administrative duties as required Requirements - 2-3 years of proven Accounts Payable experience with solid understanding of basic accounting principles - High school diploma required, AA or BA degree a plus - Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with ability to process a large volume of work - Posses strong customer service, time management and organizational skills -Ability to work independently and to carry out assigned tasks To Apply Send your resume in MS Word format to Sheri Wright, sheriw@denham.net or call (559) 222.5284 if you have any questions.
