About our Company:

We are a premier hospitality company with a 30,000 case DTC operation in the Temecula Wine Country. We are farming over 200 acres with 22 French and Italian varietals under the Bottaia and Ponte Winery labels.

We are looking for experienced, passionate individual to be a part of our team at our Bottaia Winery. We are located on the Ponte Family Estate Ranch which is just east of the Ponte Winery Tasting Room. The Bottaia Tasting Room and Pool Club bring a unique experience to Temecula Wine Country, including new wines, a semi-Olympic size pool, a splash pad for the kids, and 30 cabines (traditional Italian beach changing rooms), and a poolside bar and café.

Summary:

The Seasonal Pool Bar + Cafe Host/Hostess will greet all guests with a warm smile. Manage the seating of guests efficiently to ensure the guests’ expectations are exceeded.

Compensation: $16.00 hourly + Tips + WC Commissions

Schedule:

  • Wednesday – Sunday, 11am-6pm
  • Weekends are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a smile and respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Show guests the available cabines and sell tickets.
  • Sell the merchandise of sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun hats.
  • Take guest information and provide accurate estimate of wait time ensuring guest requests are accommodated.
  • Answer the telephone line with a smile, assisting the guest with any requests. Return any phone messages promptly and according to BOTTAIA’s standard operating procedures.
  • Seat guests in a timely consistent manner, escort them to assigned outside dining area, present menus, announce waiter’s name.
  • Communicate with bus persons and food servers any messages or information that is needed to ensure the guests’ satisfaction is exceeded.
  • Thank the guests for coming and invite them to return.
  • Ensure the safety of guests and associates.
  • Understand and adhere to the BOTTAIA values and service standards

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to treat all associates in a respectful manner.
  • Exhibits integrity (honesty and truthfulness).
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have exceptional grooming standards that are consistent with company guidelines.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to engage the guests in a clear and professional manner.
  • Be willing and able to work well under pressure.
  • Work in high paced work environment.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Must have or have the ability to obtain a Riverside County Food Handler’s Card.
  • Must have or have the ability to obtain an ABC Responsible Beverage Service certificate.
