Job: Accounting Clerk (Specializing in Accounts Payable)

Location: Keyes, Ca

Employment Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Reports to Finance Manager

Position Overview

Aemetis Advanced Fuels Keyes, Inc. is in search of a detail-oriented and organized individual to fulfill the role of Accounting Clerk. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable and other accounting duties, along with some administrative tasks within the organization. This position requires a balance of accounting expertise and administrative proficiency.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable in Microsoft Dynamics
• Accurate and timely processing of invoices.
• Responsible for organizing and prioritizing vendor payments
• Answers vendor inquiries and maintains communication with vendors
• Conducts vendor statement reconciliations and corresponding communication
• Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
• Check for accuracy in reports, entries and postings
• Compare purchase orders, verifying cost/prices, terms of payment, and other charges
• Maintaining electronic vendor files
• Support grant reporting, submissions, and auditing
• Managing office budgets and expenses, including tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Providing general administrative support to staff and management if needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or operations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat and accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics preferred
• Professionalism and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive attitude and hands on approach to get things done
• Team player working collaboratively with other cross functional partners
