Veterinary Technician

Key Tasks
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments to animals as directed by the veterinarian
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop radiographs
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
- Educate pet owners on nutritional and preventative animal care

Requirements/Experience

-Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and techniques
- Experience in handling dogs and cats
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well under pressure, good at prioritizing tasks

• Veterinary experience is preferred, or experience in animal related field

Pay range is negotiable based off of experience.
