Summary: The design consultant is responsible for providing advice and consultation to clients including homeowners, contractors and builders in hardscape, wall tile and flooring.

Top perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to offer innovative design solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, budget, and design requirements.
• Create detailed design proposals and presentations for clients.
• Work closely with product teams to stay informed about new product releases and maintain strong relationships. 
• Manage and coordinate projects from concept to completion. 
• Performs additional duties as required and or requested.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a design consultant, preferably in flooring, wall tile or hardscaping. (Provide a portfolio showcasing previous design projects, especially those related to flooring, wall tile and hardscaping.)
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and design techniques in the specified product categories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
