Vaco is seeking to hire a Operations Manager position in Buford GA. This is a direct hire opportunity that sits onsite

SUMMARY
We're looking for a leader with a passion to drive growth. This role supports the network of District Sales Managers, Regional VP's and our Dealers from the order fulfillment standpoint. This Manager will work directly with the North American sales team and the Operations team to ensure compliant and on time fulfillment of products to Dealers.
The Inside Sales Ops Manager is responsible to run smooth and effective back-end operations to support business development team and dealers. The key deliverables are to implement and drive operational processes & system with the coordination of support functions (Purchasing, Warehousing and Finance), thus enabling business development teams to focus on dealer orders and the movement of product in meeting the dealers' requirements.
The role should be seen as "Nerve Centre" for business unit for ensuring smooth back-end support for day-to-day operations, delivery of Business Unit targets & seamless projects execution on time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Processes & Operating guidelines
  • Operational Planning/ Target Delivery
    • Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient operations
    • Act as a liaison/partner between the Sales team and Dealer contacts.
    • Monitor sales targets against plan and recommend action plans to re-establish performance objectives in line with agreed targets.
    • Ensure accuracy of data to facilitate efficient order fulfilment by DC.
  • Data Collection & Reporting
    • Maintain information database for business unit: customer orders, received inventory.
  • Product Logistic

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area
  • 5+ years of business experience in Operations (Sales, Logistics, inventory management)
  • Syspro experience is an asset.
  • Ability to operate on a cross-national scale and develop remote management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical for success.
  • Founder's/Entrepreneurial mentality to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar subject areas.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, organization, and time management are essential skills.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Excellent and effective communication skills. Required to communicate with both internal sales team and dealers.
  • Able to multi-task and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Must be computer software program savvy and highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
