Job Summary

AECOM is looking for

Cleared Warehouse workers with

active high level government clearances - Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph.

Warehousemen at the developmental level work under close daily contractor supervision and are assigned to one of the following three warehouse work units: Dock Operations, Stock Management, or Property Reutilization. Entry/developmental warehousemen are expected to develop a proficiency in the duties of that work unit. With substantial guidance, performs duties in one or two of the following work units: Dock Operations, Stock Management, and Property Reutilization. TS/SCI with Polygraph required to be considered.

Dock Operations: unloads materials, receives materials, loads cross dock materials.

Stock Management: fills orders and retrieves materials, obtains materials from Dock Operations for storage, collects data for customer billing purposes, practices quality assurance.

Property Reutilization: Reviews/approves property reutilization requests, processes materials determined for reuse, processes materials to be disposed of securely, processes materials to be recycled.

The entry/developmental level warehouseman must also perform other duties as assigned, depending on surge and other requirements.

Detailed work assignments include:

  • unload trucks by hand or by using material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks)

  • X-ray incoming materials following the warehouse guidelines on security inspections

  • Update the warehouse receiving database from manifests and packing lists

  • Resolve discrepancies by contacting vendors, customers, and/or shippers

  • Print packing slips and labels and affix to material

  • Use material handling equipment as required, retrieve and load materials onto trucks in accordance with weight distribution guidelines and limitations

  • Update stock inventory database

  • Determine total storage space occupied by customers, consolidate materials as needed

  • Examine storage areas to ensure correct labeling and adherence to safety standards

  • Separate, mark and label materials for reuse, secure disposal, or recycling

  • Forward material to security for inspection

  • Load material onto pallets; shrink wrap; load onto trailers

  • Prepares manifests for shipments to GSA

  • Makes arrangements with Trucking Operations

  • Use industrial shredders

  • Make arrangements with recycling companys to pick up materials

IND-ICS

Minimum Requirements

  • High Level Government Clearance - Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph. TS/SCI

  • High School Diploma or a GED certificate

  • Ability to obtain a basic knowledge of Agency and Logistics policies and regulations that pertain to storage, shipping, and handling of materials (to include specialized materials).

  • Ability to obtain a basic understanding of the Working Capital Fund business operating procedures.

  • Basic knowledge of cover and how it pertains to warehouse operations.

  • Some knowledge of Windows-based computer applications.

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to operate various material handling equipment in accordance with safety requirements and procedures.

  • Ability to safely move material of various sizes and weights throughout the warehouse and onto and off trucks.

  • Materials may include crates, furniture, electronics, HAZMAT, lumber, vehicles, 55-gallon drums, and military items.

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

  • Ability to operate an industrial shredder in accordance with safety requirements and procedures.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment in decision making and creative in problem solving (i.e. maximize space, handle the wide range of materials received, deal with multiple customers and priorities, and resolve inventory discrepancies.)

  • Ability to read and understand manifests and other documents.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using m

aterials handling equipment, forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
