Production Associates - Full-time

Spartan Staffing has immediate openings for Production Associates.

Job Duties:

Responsible for following all packaging specifications

Responsible for making sure of producing hard rolls off of the rewinder

Must understand 5S and Kanbans and maintain both of these in your area

Take direction from Team Lead on all day to day activities and keep them informed of any issues with this equipment

Responsible for the equipment in and around the skid area (skid plates & corner board saw)

Responsible for separating, strapping, and helping package all rolls

Responsible for getting all junk skids and weight change skids either in their proper location or in the pallet returns area outside.

Responsible for emptying the recycle bins

Responsible for parking all rolls off the conveyor when the rewinder and double stack them in the proper area for shipping.

Must be willing to train in ALL areas, no matter the job duty assigned.

Additional clean up of the facility will be mandated

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED (must be able to supply proof)

Minimum 1 year experience in a high volume manufacturing environment

Understand verbal and written English

Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment

Must keep SAFETY in mind at ALL times

Must be capable of working with others

Perfect attendance is a must for this position.

This is a long term position paying $12 per hour (increase in pay in 90 days when hired on by company up to $15/hr)

Work Schedule:

Rotating Shifts (Switch shift every 3 weeks) 8 hour shift times. Must be able to work overtime when needed.
