Contract to Hire Position
Pay Rate: $14.00 PH
3rd Shift (8 hours)
Opportunity for overtime available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities described below are subject to management discretion and may be changed at any time based upon corporate need or reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor of this position.
- Recommends revisions to quality system (MQC, WI, etc.) in order to improve company-wide quality.
- Audits manufacturing processes to assure compliance to established system standards.
- Performs gauge calibration as requested by Quality Supervisor or QE.
- Collects data using test equipment and gauging.
- Collects SPC data and reviews when directed by Quality Supervisor or QE.
- Initiates and conducts follow-up on countermeasures.
- Uses Quality Assurance tools to improve product quality.
Education and/or Experience
- HS Diploma / GED
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical preferred
- 3-5 years Quality experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints is required.
