About this job
Work experience should include the use of most of the following in a manufacturing operations environment; Six Sigma tools, lean manufacturing methods, advanced statistical techniques, project management and Quality systems development. Other desired qualities include solid project planning skills, good general problem solving ability, and strong computer aptitude. The candidate should also be articulate in both written and oral communications. Recognition by ASQ as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) is highly desirable. ISO 9000 or TS 16949 experience is a plus.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline from an ABET Certified university with at least 2 years of applied experience in Quality Engineering or Process Engineering is required. Educations emphasis in a chemical or ceramic study is highly desirable.
