Go to work for a company that supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets! Your job duties will include: assembling a combination of electrical and mechanical parts and sub-assemblies to completely make high-voltage transformers.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

 

  • Visually check completed work against drawings to insure accuracy and completeness.
  • Dimensionally check work utilizing applicable measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales.
  • Setup and utilize properly all applicable jigs, fixtures, aids; adapt tooling to new uses or work without tooling as necessary to complete work assignment. Use accurately such hand or power tools as soldering irons, wire strippers, high voltage soldering irons, resistance (module) welders, bench spot welders, nut drivers, torque wrenches.
  • Perform rework, repair and modification as directed or authorized that is of same level of complexity of the regular work performed.
  • Use solvents, degreasers, abrasives and other cleaning agents to clean work prior to solder and assembly as required. Plastics: Perform encapsulating and varnishing for any regular production items using recommended fixtures and aids. Prepare compounds per standard formulas transformer assembly.

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • 3+ years experience in assembly; Fine soldering certification or equivalent experience; Crimping background

Shift: Mon – Fri 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

 

Pay: $16.00 / hour
