You'll have the opportunity to provide technical leadership in a talented Engineering team, influencing the selection of technology and working closely with Architects and other technical leaders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Passion for writing great code.
Lead teams through complex design and development tasks.
Ensure architectural and code consistency, as well as future maintainability of the code base.
Influence adoption of software engineering best practices both within your immediate team and across the organization & geographies.
Contribute to the functional design of the product.
Influence the selection of technologies, including open source projects.
Lead teams in developing schedules and keeping on track for commitments.
Build and maintain healthy working relationships with your team, peers, and others across the organization.
Work with Product Architects, Project Managers, and other Engineering leaders to deliver on commitments.

Qualification
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of object-oriented design and service-oriented architecture.
Experience with IoC (Spring source libraries), multi-threaded programming, and concurrent libraries.
Experience with Java REST or SOAP web services.
Eight to twelve years of experience in hands-on software development.
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
Experience developing web applications with HTML5 and JavaScript libraries, such as AngularJS.
Knowledge of distributed computing, message based systems (JMS, etc.), JNI, O/R mapping, Maven build system, and Aspect Oriented Programming.
Experience with Agile methodologies and concepts, including Scrum, continuous integration, and automated testing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
