Remedy Intelligent Staffing is hiring Precision Structural Metal Fitters for our valued client west of Madison. These openings are temp-to-hire positions with advancement opportunities. For consideration please send resumes to briana.walsh@remedystaff.com

Responsibilities:

• Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met
• Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, and  form metal components.
• Lift or move materials and finished products
• Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
• Follow blueprints or layout instructions
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Knowledge of measuring instruments including but not limited to micrometers, gauges, or calipers
• Ability to read blueprints
• Positive attitude and ability to work in team environments
• Excellent attendance record
• Previous manufacturing experience
