Description

Production Maintenance Technician Level II (Mechanical) - Responsible to mechanically troubleshoot and repair high speed packaging equipment in a timely manner. Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on production lines and facilitate equipment changeovers.

  1. Ability to mechanically troubleshoot equipment problems, must quickly and correctly accomplish equipment repairs, and meticulously perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  2. Overhaul and install new equipment.
  3. Fabricate and repair machine parts.
  4. Perform basic facility maintenance.
  5. Basic tig and arc welding skills preferred.
  6. Required to maintain clean and safe work area.
  7. Required to accurately generate parts request and complete preventative maintenance worksheets.
  8. Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
  9. Perform packaging equipment changeovers.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 2 years of technical training OR 2 years related maintenance experience
  • Lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly, walking and standing for long period of time
