Showroom Assistant Job Description (JD-06)
We are a rapidly growing lighting retailer looking for a Showroom Sales Assistant. Support a wide range of customers; including homeowners, builders, architects, designers and B2B, to provide a wide range of lighting fixtures and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist clients, by appointment, walk-ins, over the phone and email, while utilizing lighting knowledge to best service the customer’s needs with wide range of product that Savio represents
• Gathers and reviews customer’s technical and design requirements for suitability with Savio’s capabilities and products available
• Ability to provide estimate of costs, build part numbers, prepare quotes and proposals; providing alternatives in terms of price and design are very important
• Ability to provide not only functionality elements to the customer’s requirements, but also the ability to add a comprehensive style and design plan as well.
• Strong knowledge of building part numbers and developing proper pricing
• Prepare and enter correct proposals and pricing into our computer system
• Strong follow up skills required for each customer’s account
• Maintain composure and accuracy in a fast passed environment
• Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image at all times
• Assist in preparing, tagging, and placing display items out on to the showroom floor.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all the customers who visit the showroom, contact us online or by phone
• Maintain retail showroom integrity, sweeping, dusting, cleaning, putting items away and organizing
• Assisting other department as necessary, ability to lift and move up to 50lbs. on continued bases
SKILLS
• Exceptional customer service skills in person, over the phone and online
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image at all times
 

EXPERIENCE
• 2-3 years showroom experience preferred
EDUCATION
• HS diploma
