Contracts Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Duti es include (but are not limited to):

Provide administrative support to Contracts Specialists, as needed. Assist with copying, and filing of contract documents, and general correspondence. Maintain electronic and hard copy contract files. Update electronic contracts database files, as required. Assist with correspondence follow-up. Distribute incoming mail. Act as a front-desk receptionist. Work under immediate supervision.

Qualifications:

E ducation/Experience : Two-year college degree strongly preferred , along with 1+ year of contract related experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience in high-volume environment strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, and Excel is required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: General office setting. T ypically , the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work, usually at a computer terminal /desk - with short breaks or lunch period. However, there may be some bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder level, walking; standing; carrying of light items such as papers, or packages of up to 25 pounds. Should be able to hear, and speak clearly using tele phone to communicate with individuals. Must be able to navigate, view & enter information on the computer.

We are seeking an individual with administrative assisting, and healthcare experience, to provide support in our Contracting department.

The opportunity is part-time temporary, with the possibility to become permanent. Three 8-hour days, per week.
