About this job
Our client in Dayton, NJ is seeking a Wave Planner. The Wave Planner position involves professional-level duties and exemplary judgment. The position will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager. Some of the job responsibilities include:
- Plan daily workload utilizing WMS System
- Reviews or assists in the review of future shipments based on present workload and forecasts
- Prepares and presents detailed reports based on past and present customer shipments
- Acts as liaison between allocations and customer service
- Assists in resolving customer issues both internal and external
- Monitors order workload constantly and facilitate release of additional orders
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintain databases
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of he principles and practices of planning
- Must have effective writing techniques
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Experience with SAP, SAGE, Geode or other WMS systems is preferred
