Forklift Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Randstad a National Leader in the Distribution and Warehouse Industry is seeking seasoned forklift operators for a client located in the Alexandria, VA area. The position requires that one be able to safely and accurately operate a forklift, move, load and unload trucks using the machine. Candidates should have experience operating the forklift in a capacity that may include order selecting, stocking, shipping &receiving, replenishment, etc. Candidate should be able to regulate movement, be careful to avoid overload or improperly stack or move supplies and materials. Candidate should be a self-starter and feel comfortable working with others. Randstad seeks forklift operators with the flexibility and know how to do various warehouse duties including picking orders, building/ breaking down pallets, operate manual pallet jacks, and work in a team environment.

Working hours: First shift

Must be at least 18 years old
Should have at least 2 years of recent Forklift experience
Should have operated forklift within the past 6 months
Should Feel comfortable passing a drug and background screening
Experience with loading and unloading
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to safely adhere to all policies and procedures while completing daily task.
Flexibility to work nights a plus
