The Time Warner Cable Internship Program offers students a work experience that will create a bridge between their classroom knowledge and possible career choices. This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable professional experience within an industry leading company. All internships are PAID!
The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks an Intern for our CTG (Converged Technology Group) Department. We ' re looking for bright, highly motivated aspiring software testers to join our team in a fast paced environment. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
As a member the System Test and Integration team, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of supporting our Automated Client Testing and Tool development processes. This includes developing automated test scripts for our video based clients, enhancing existing web based testing tools, and other aspects of automating the manual testing of our video client applications. This 10-week program requires excellent development and communication skills. The intern will be paired with a member of the engineering staff.
Job Requirements:
- Significant coursework in Computer Science.
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
-Open to students pursuing undergraduate, graduate or PhD degrees
-Must have permanent US work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Previous software testing is a plus
