About this job
Lifeguard:
- minimum of 15yrs old;
- current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training,
- First Aid & CPR/AED certification,
- ability to pass Kingsport Aquatic Center swim test.
The Kingsport Aquatic Center will begin seasonal operations with the opening of the waterpark on May 12, 2014, which will remain open daily through Labor Day and on weekends, weather permitting, through September. Selected applicants will be assigned both indoors and outdoors throughout the summertime operations. Applicants must be able to commit to the entire summer season from May through Labor Day with minimal time requested off.
Hours of Operation :
The KAC will be open from 5:30 am to 10 pm M-F; 8am-6pm on Saturday; and 10-6pm on Sunday. Staffing times will consist of shifts throughout those hours with private rentals after hours on Sat and Sun.
