Starting pay range is $12.00 - 15.00 /hr, depending on experience.
Immediate opening with established, quality practice.
Experience:
Dental Assistant Certificate
Dental assisting experience (Must have min. 1 year)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Stable employment history.
Previous experience with CareStream software a big plus.
Will perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, ranging from making sure patients feel as comfortable as possible, preparing them for treatment, obtaining patient's dental records, and instructing patients on post-operative and general oral health care.
Responsibilties:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
Take, develop and mount dental radiographs (x-rays).
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
