Experienced Warehouse / Production Supervisors Wanted - Full-time / Part-time

Key Activities and Accountabilities
-Activities and accountabilities vary depending on the contract and the needs of the customer. Some responsibilities of the supervisor position are shared between the different types of contracts.
-Contract Warehouse
-Distribute receiving, put-way, picking, packing, shipping, boxing, kitting, and sub-assembly work assignments and resolve any associated problems.
-Create, train, promote, and enforce all Quality, Safety, and Environmental procedures and work instructions to maintain an error free, safe, and clean work environment.
-Be accountable to the Quality, Safety, Productivity, and Profitability of the contract.
Activities and Accountabilities
-Support payroll processing
-Generate timely metrics
-Maintain equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance
-Responsible for managing the operations workforce
-Investigate customer complaints
Qualifications

Experience and Education
-Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
-High School Diploma / Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a plus for Logistics or Transportation
-Two years experience, preferably some Supervisory experience in a Transportation, Logistics, Warehouse, or Cross-dock environment
-Must be versed on safety and compliance issues

Technical and Functional Skills
-Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Word and Excel
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Strong written, verbal, and inter-personal skills to manage and motivate workforce and others
-Knowledge of warehouse management systems
-Required Behavioural Competencies (refer to or attach the relevant Company/Divisional competencies description for this role)
