Production Worker - Full-time / Part-time

THE JOBS - VINYL, ALUMINUM, INSULATED GLASS Production workers must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions. They are to complete their work with accuracy and efficiency. They must be able to construct windows in all different phases, including glass department, or aluminum department or insulated glass (IG: must be able to lift large glass parcels for washing and high temp ovens = lift higher weight sometimes up to 90#). ESSENCE WOOD/FIBERGLASS We also have another line, Essence, that I'd be willing to take a look at some resumes. These managers prefer high-volume assembly experience, but not too much - ability to take direction and train into the high-end "craft" of our wood windows and French doors (these guys are super picky). Exceptional long-term training is provided. We make beautiful windows and doors. It takes time. Interested? we have a perfect shift for you if you are fast, team-oriented, and have prior building products knowledge with a mechanical aptitude for training, can lift up to 60lbs and understand basic math. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED One year of production experience or similar preferred in an assembly, factory, or manufacturing environment. Two to three years of work experience with good attendance. Knowledge of safe work practices. The nature of all production positions is repetitive motions for extended periods of time. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING: * High School diploma or GED preferred. ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: * Read a tape measure. * Basic Math skills. * Read/write English. * Keep MPS commitments. * Operate various tools. * Ability to work in a team environment. *Attendance and respect for team achievement is #1. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling. * May be required to frequently lift up to 60 lbs. * Hand dexterity and strength. * Overtime is required, including weekends. * May be required to work a flexible schedule at times. WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions. * Hearing protection and safety glasses required (we supply), additional safety equipment provided based on specific job. * Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti-fatigue mats provided where feasible. Personnel will stand while performing their respective job functions, for up to 13 hours a day. * Employee is regularly exposed to vibration. * Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electric shock. * Noise level in work environment is usually loud. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Shifts available Days 5:00/5:30/6:00 AM starts (depending on department) - 1:30 PM w/OT as needed. Swing: 3 PM - 11PM w/OT as needed. Unable to consider felony background of up to 7 years. Prior offenses will be reviewed by HR on case-by-case basis. No consideration for any bodily violence offenses. Applicant must have experience with hand tools, or some power tools and automation. Vinyl is cutting, hammering, bending, measuring, and fitting; aluminum is similar. Insulated Glass is lifting, flipping, and washing glass panels for fitting into windows. We provide up to $25 reimbursement for proper footwear. Steel toe boots are mandatory on the floor.
