SALES & SERVICE COORDINATOR


Position Summary:
• Responsible for the daily operations of the Sales/Marketing Department

Essential Functions:

• Compose and send letters to perspective clients
• Keep and up-to-date calendar of events and functions. Update daily
• Assist Sales Manager in selling function space
• Prepare group agreement, Banquet Event Orders, and group recap; ensuring we have all information
• Answer incoming sales calls
• Create and mail sales flyers and coupons
• Ensure the setup of the meeting room prior to start time of event and oversee meetings
• Meet and greet onsite contact upon arrival
• Maintain social media sites and channels
• Keep all files in an orderly manner. Maintain records of past and future events
• Keep mailing list up to date
• Charge advance purchase reservations
• Call perspective leads for new or repeat business
• Check and reply to all email request and voice mails
• Conduct site tours
• Post charges and create invoices
• Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel, including nut not limited to those contained in the employee handbook

Education and Experience:
• Previous hotel experience preferred
