Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D/N Pay Rate: $37.70 *
This Labor Delivery (LD) unit is located in one of the top five hospitals in the nation. The staff on this unit provide the highest-quality care using the latest proven technology. The average birth per month here is 200 and the unit boasts 5 LD rooms, 13 maternity beds and 8 well baby bassinets. RN's will be expected to circulate and scrub C-Sections.. High risk deliveries are performed here. This role is perfect for passionate LD Travel RN caregivers who want to experience cutting edge technologies and top notch patient care models.
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
CA RN license
BSN (absolute)
2 yrs or greater LD exp (not including new grad year)
Adv Fetal Monitoring required.
