Position Description:

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Interpret Contracts for Appropriate Invoicing and Simple Revenue Recognition
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret contractual language pertaining to simple billing and revenue recognition models 
Record and analyze financial transactions
  • Create billing invoices and settlement documents
  • Reviews documents for accuracy and compliance with organization policy and regulatory guidelines including proper authorization, documentation, general ledger coding, correct amounts and sales tax.
  • Provide timely support for all customer inquiries and requests, escalating as appropriate
  • Investigate nonstandard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
  • Exhibit ability to identify unusual transactions and escalate as appropriate 
Support the financial reporting process 
  • Actively participate in the financial monthly/quarterly close process
  • Demonstrate understanding of relationship among accounts, and document unusual activity
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Assist in preparation of documentation in support of external and internal audits

Requirements

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Billing experience is required
  • Must have current proficiency with Microsoft Excel –(Utilization of pivot tables and formulas)
  • Must have current proficiency with Microsoft Word to create and edit documents
Preferred Asset:
  • Experience with Onyx, AccPac and PeopleSoft helpful but not necessary.
