Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Skilled - (COTA - Skilled)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $28.00-30.50 *

Well respected skilled nursing facility (SNF) is seeking an Occupational Therapist who is highly motivated and energetic to join the team. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:
" Interested candidates must have 1 years of experience
" Nationally recognized rehab company
" Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an OT and/or registered as a Occupational therapist per state requirements.


The role of the certified occupational therapist assistants (COTA) is to assist patients with rehabilitation and exercise activities that the occupational therapist has outlined in the treatment plan. In occupational therapy, a COTA aids patients in a number of various activities, such as:
  • Wheelchair activities
  • Energy conservation
  • Joint protection techniques
    • Occupational therapist assistants also provide motivation and encouragement for patients, and can work in a variety of settings that includes:
      • Acute
      • Home health
      • Outpatient
      • Skilled Nursing
