The pediatric intensive care nurse (PICU RN) provides cares for children and adolescents, usually up to the age of 18, with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions that require constant monitoring. Working in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), a high-tech children’s services area for critically ill, medically complex, and/or post-surgical patients, the pediatric intensive care RN collaborates with families, physicians, and other healthcare officials to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.
Required Qualifications
1. At least 2 yrs of current experience in the specialty is required. MUST FLOAT TO PICU AND PEDS
2. NRP, must have exp date in selling notes&include renewal info if expired
3. Referencing - 2 refs, 1 must be from most current job
4. -WILL TAKE ASN...4.5 years exp in specialty
6. Any Computer Charting
