Management responsible for directing and implementing network operations center (Bridge)activities located within a customer care call center. The Bridge teams work directly with the NOC teams to monitor the transmission of high speed data, voice telecommunications and provide Internet access services and video over the corporation ' s networks. Organizes and manages field-based Bridge technicians and staff involved in monitoring and adjusting Network operations and ensuring immediate response to system problems and outages. Ensures compliance by the Bridge with corporate standards, policies and procedures. Participates in the development and acquisition of new technologies, software and tools to improve the Bridge ' s reliability and effectiveness, and participates in their testing and deployment. Accountable for the function ' s budgets and recommends capital expenditures for Bridge services. Notifies corporate management of Bridge activities and issues. Maintains good relations with other departments to ensure that deployed technologies are being properly used and that identified problems are resolved in a timely manner. Manages the daily activities of supervisors and/or individuals accountable for monitoring and adjusting service in a Bridge location. Typically has 7 - 10 years relevant experience.
