Aerotek is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Berks County. We are looking to interview welders immediately. The position will work on 1st shift. There is an ability to get on a fast-track for a higher pay as skills and qualifications are assessed.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The candidate is responsible for welding and assembling components in a manufacturing environment. This position requires general welding skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment when needed
- Examine and measure work pieces for defects with straight edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
- Must be able to read/work off of blueprints.
