Field Electrician (High Voltage). 1st shift. 12 months temp to hire.
MUST be able to travel around the United States in order to diagnose, repair and conduct maintenance on high voltage electrical equipment.
Travel is up to 100% and will also include Drilling rigs.
The candidate selected for the Field Technician position will possess between 5 to 15 years of experience in the following areas:
Work on High, Medium and Low voltages, Switchgears, Circuit Breakers and Relays that includes:
- Testing
- Repair
- Maintenance
Work on Transformers which includes:
- Testing
- Service
Ideal candidates will also have experience with:
- Solid State Relays
- Siprotec
- SEL
This person MUST be able to work independently and perform repairs
Candidates MUST have no less than 3 years of experience with either Industrial or Utility work.
Performance Measures: Perform diagnosis/repairs/maintenance under pressure, provide accurate assessments, timely repairs and customer service.
First day responsibilities: Will train for the first week in Hammond, Indiana. Travel to national projects will begin the second week.
