About this job
Tool & Die technician's will be responsbile for maintaining metal stamping dies using hand tools, manual mills, lathes, grinders Etc. Tig welding is a must with 5 plus years of experience in the trade.
Presses the will work on are 600-3600 Ton Transfer & Progressive, 1200 ton prog / transfer, 2200 Ton Transfer (large metal stamping presses)
- Minimum 5 years of tool & die repair experience in a STAMPING facility, preferrably automotive, but they are open to non-automotive.
- Grinding expertise will be necessary as the tool & die technicians will be grinding to ensure tolerances for repairing the existing dies.
- Need tool & die troubleshooting experience.
