Mental Health Giver Direct Support Professional - Full-time / Part-time

We have On-Call Direct Support Professional openings for our Orchid Home:

Orchid is a 2-level home which serves 6 Mental Health male residents with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) who are under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB.) The house is located close to Multnomah village and is about .5 mile away from a Trimet bus stop. Must be flexible, cleared as a driver, willing to work awake graveyard shifts.

$11.00/Hour

Mentor Oregon is seeking On-Call Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide assistance to adults with mental disabilities in a community-based setting at our Orchid home. DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.

This residential home serves mental health male residents with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), who are under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB.)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Six months of experience in human services preferred
• Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks

• Applicants must be flexible

• Willing to work awake graveyard shifts as needed.
