About this job
The position of Summer camp counselor is a full time seasonal position working with High School and Middle School aged campers as they partake in the New York Film Academy’s Summer Filmmaking and Acting programs. The responsibilities of the position are, but not limited to, the following: daily supervision of students, nightly room checks, driving 15 passenger van shuttles, supervising large groups during production, leading nightly and weekend activities, picking up students from LAX as well as many other things in the course of the summer. It is an over night camp, so all counselors live on property and will be on call at all times.
The camp runs from June 22nd until August 16th, the counselors will begin work one-week prior on June 16th.
Job requirements:
Must have completed or be working towards a degree or certificate in Film, Acting or a related field
One year experience working in a camp as a counselor.
Minimum 21 years of age
