Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $31.71 *
Prince George’s Hospital Center is an acute care teaching facility that was founded in 1944. Located in beautiful Cheverly, Maryland, this facility provides easy access to the Washington, DC area, giving you the ability to enjoy many interesting sites and activities.
This LD unit prides itself in providing optimal patient outcomes in a family-centered atmosphere! We are looking for like minded individuals to bring energy and enthusiam to this excellent unit.
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
two years L& D experience
high risk ER RN experience
Preferred Qualifications
CERNER EXPERIENCE
compact or MD license
