Psychiatric Nurse - (Psych RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $30.71 *
Hospital system is 2nd largest employer in its county with over 3,000 employees, this hospital was founded in 1944.
As an acute care teaching hospital and regional referral center ,this hospital is the second busiest combination trauma center in the state of Maryland, with a 97.8% save rate.plus a designated emergency cardiac intervention center.
RN works as an inpatient case manager. RN's responsibilities include attending/coordinating unit staff meetings, justifying in writing the patient's need for continued hospitalization, reviewing admissions for medical necessity, discharge planning, and reviewing complaints. RN works with insurance, worker's comp, Medicare/Medicaid, doctors, patients, and family members. This facility has computerized documentation.
The psychiatric / mental health nurse (psych RN) assists in the care of individuals suffering from mental illnesses, working with patients and their families and communities to assess mental health needs and provide personalized care as appropriate. Additional responsibilities include:
