About this job
The Customer Data Specialist position will provide data entry support for external customers. This position can expect 80 incoming phone calls per day on average as well as a high volume of email communication from field technicians and sales personnel. In addition to external customers, support will also be provided to field technicians, sales and branch personnel as well as ensure proper testing of new & existing alarm panels by field technicians.
Monday through Friday schedule,11:00am - 7:30pm with 1/2 hour lunch.
MUST HAVES:
- Reading comprehension, we will use the Proveit Reading Comprehension test prior to submitting.
- 1 yr Previous customer service experience is a must, call center highly preferred
- Minimum 40 WPM typing speed, we will also Proveit test for this prior to submitting.
- General computer proficiency including MS Excel and Outlook (please ask where they have used these two programs and for how long)
- Ability to multi-task including navigating computer system while communicating with customer over the phone
