POSITION PURPOSE
Home Depot Interiors is responsible for the Sales and Manufacturing of premium Kitchen and Bath remodeling products offered in over 45 major markets. The Order Processing Clerk is responsible for entering jobs into the system. Involves editing, data entry, matching sizes, colors, types, etc. from orders received from the branches and wholesale accounts. Also serves as customer service representative and factory receptionist. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Edits and enters all data into order system program.
  • Makes pull tickets for hardware orders.
  • Makes copies to be distributed to other departments such as hardware, drawers, and countertops.
  • Forwards orders to production.
  • Provides receptionist duties such as greeting of guests and answering of phone.
  • Assist with customer service calls working with management to help resolve the issue. NATURE AND SCOPE
