Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse - (OR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 N Pay Rate: $33.00 *
This OR has 12 suites, 4 cath labs, 4 cardiovascular operating suites, and 2 pediatric ambulatory surgery suites, just to name a few of the innovative surgical areas at this facility. A RN is needed for this highly advanced surgical center in WA State. The ideal OR RN must be comfortable working in general, ortho, neuro, GYN, GI, ENT, eyes, urology, and circulating. This unit is looking for an experienced and well regarded OR RN to join their dynamic team of care givers..
Start Date:02/11 or 02/25
Shift: 8E, plus call
The role of the perioperative nurse / operating room nurse (OR RN) is to provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery or surgical procedures. The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field. Perioperative nurses work in every type of healthcare facility, including hospitals, ambulatory or outpatient surgery centers, and physician offices.
