Marketing Coordinator 

Summary

 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, will assist in the implementation of marketing and community relations strategies and provide administrative support such as preparing reports, data entry, filing, and communications.

  1.  Performs follow up communications related to new and existing referral sources and clients.
  2.  Creates, prepares and distributes marketing communications, such as mailers, e-blasts, etc.
  3.  Prepares marketing materials for meetings, speaking engagements, presentations, webcasts, etc.
  4.  Maintains an accurate computer database.
  5.  Prepares and distributes reports and meeting minutes.
  6.  Schedules meetings and presentations; confirms attendance at events.
  7.  Maintains inventory of marketing materials and event calendar.
  8.  Assists in event planning and participates in community events and presentations.
  9.  Gathers, compiles and maintains market related information, including trends and competitor information.
  10.  Assists in monitoring the effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics to maximize business development efforts.
  11.  Assists in marketing company services and building relationships with referrals sources and other groups, organizations and individuals within the community.

Education and Training Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business administration preferred

2-3 years marketing experience

Experience in senior care and/or healthcare industry preferred

Familiarity with Collier county market

Excellent personal presentation

Computer proficiency, including word, excel and powerpoint

Knowledge of web based marketing  

Strong communications and customer service skills

Effective organization skills and timely follow through

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Analytical skills

Possess a strong drive and creativity

 Status and Schedule

 Part time position, 24 hours a week position, with possible future full time status. From time to time may be required to work additional hours, including attending events outside normal business hours, as needed. Potential for professional and personal growth.
