Position Objective Provide supplies and support to press operators in a timely and efficient manner Essential Functions *Review press schedule and act accordingly to build next Kitts that will be needed for each press *Participate in set-up and teardown of press jobs *Wand tooling and plates to a location *Teardown and wash plates and return to plate return area *Return tooling to storage area *Sweep up and dump trash in designated areas *Maintain areas of responsibility to 6S standards *Adhere to mandatory daily stretch and safety requirements *Participate in Kaizen/Lean events as requested *May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned Education and/or Experience: 1.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2.Past Printing Industry experience helps 3.Some computer knowledge ; MS Office (Excel) 4.Mechanical background 5.Job can be dirty at times. 6.Can take direction from several people 7.Position requires a sense of urgency Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles (safety glasses required at all times); toxic or caustic chemicals; potential for falling materials (steel or composite toe required at all times); and material that may exceed 40lbs which will require the use of mechanical or additional assistance to lift. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will require hearing protection at all times. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
